These Nepali second graders are writing to a second grade class in Wadsworth, Ohio where our grand niece is a student. What an exceptional opportunity for all the students involved to learn about other cultures. It’s a living geography lesson!!

Each time we visit Nepal, Foresight staff take the sponsored students for a retreat in the hillside town of Dhulikhel. The retreats combine spiritual discipleship with practical instruction…. and fun! We have focused on team building and leadership skills on our last few retreats. Besides eliciting lots of laughs, we hope that our activities help the students to understand team dynamics and even to develop some leadership skills.

Foresight board member, Dave Monaghan, and his wife, Terry, are in Nepal with us on a semi annual visit. We are happy to welcome Karma into the Foresight family. Karma has completed his 10th grade School Leaving Certificate “with distinction”. This signals his exit from the Prison Fellowship Nepal hostel. He is delighted for the opportunity to continue his education in grade 11 in the field of Science. He will join 5 other young men residing in the Foresight flat in Kathmandu.
